How do you clean and sanitize the toys?

Safety is our top priority. Every toy undergoes a sanitization process using child-safe, non-toxic cleaners before being rented out again.

How does pick up work?

Pick-up is available on Tuesdays after 8 AM on your scheduled start date via porch pick up. Returns must be dropped off by Mondays at noon on your final rental day to allow us time to sanitize the items for the next family.

What is your refund policy?

At Swap the Playroom, we understand that plans can change—we’re parents too! However, due to the nature of our rentals and scheduling, we do not offer refunds for canceled bookings.
If you need to cancel, all funds paid will be issued as a Swap The Playroom Gift Card. This credit can be used toward any future toy rental or event service.
Please note:

  • We cannot guarantee the same toy(s) will be available at the new date.
  • Gift card credits are subject to current rental availability at the time of re-booking.

We recommend reaching out as soon as possible if your plans change so we can work with you on finding the best alternative!

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking 2-6 weeks ahead, especially for weekends or holidays. Last-minute? Message us-we'll do our best!

Do you offer exclusive dates for birthday parties?

We don’t offer single-day rentals because we believe the fun should last longer! All of our rentals are for a full week. This allows the birthday child to enjoy their special toys at home without the pressure of sharing during the party. Plus, it’s the perfect way to discover how much your playroom can benefit from a fresh toy rotation!

Will you buy my toys?
